Day 46: Flowers and Field Trips

My mom homeschooled me all the way from fourth grade through graduation (which was two years ago) and still loves field trips, so we took a little one of our own last weekend. We visited a really neat historical park set up like a turn-of-the-century pioneer town. In addition to historical buildings and neat architecture, it also boasts an amazing garden. The top photo is from the garden, and the lower one is a picture of my mom and me reflected in the glass window and the mirror of the barbershop. Did you know that barbers often served as doctors? The classic red and white barber pole stands for blood and bandages.
