So, I have been informed that some people actually do follow this thing! I guess I'll try to update it more often. We had a really nice thunderstorm Friday night, complete with thunder, lightning, and a double rainbow! After getting about a million shots from the rainbow, I ran up to the local cemetery. There's a large field at one end that looks out over the highway and provides a really clear view of the sky, great for photographing sunsets.
I left a note on the counter to the effect of "Gone to cemetery. Back soon." and grabbed my phone and keys. It took probably 20 minutes of waiting (and a lot of photographs) before I got this shot. Totally worth it, though. This storm broke a triple digit heatwave we'd been suffering through for the entire week and the air was amazing. It was cool, almost cold, and smelled wonderful.
